Ginger Tonic
It has been incredibly COLD!
Unseasonably cold.
Here’s a nice way to warm up, especially if you’ve been feeling a bit under the weather.
2-3 inches of ginger root
1/2 cup honey
1/2 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
Add all ingredients into the container and blend well.
This can be stored in a glass jar in the fridge for at least 2 weeks.
For the tonic, add 1 tablespoon of the Ginger Tonic and 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice to a mug of hot water.
